Solid, generous dining table.

What is more beautiful than a spacious dining table that invites you to gather with your family and friends?

Our customer thought the same and wanted a matching table for her comfortable dining chairs. In order for the ensemble to match, the base of the chairs and the dining table were realised in stained oak.

Our customer’s demand was clear: she wanted a large table with a thick, solid wooden top. After a few hand sketches, the formal aspects of the table were defined. Plans for the realisation were drawn up and discussed with the Swiss producer Tossa GmbH. The tabletop has an impressive thickness of 6 cm. In order for this table to meet our high-quality standards, it had to be ensured that the wood had been stored long enough and appropriately in advance.

Together with our customer we visited our producer in Fischingen. There we were able to inspect the tabletop before it was cut to length and stained. Our customer really appreciated the opportunity to meet the “maker” of her table and to talk to him personally.

After production, this table went directly into a container temperature-controlled for furniture on a long journey to Sydney. Our customer returned to Australia briefly after the table was finished. Full of excitement, she was able to receive the furniture in her new home.
