To bring the niu furniture for the SAC hut up the mountain, it needed support from the air.
The freshly made niu furniture is well packed and ready for delivery at our producer vonrickenbach.swiss ag. First everything is loaded into a truck, which continues up to Bisisthal. Until it can go no further. Now it gets interesting: the furniture is unloaded and made ready to be flown by helicopter to the SAC hut Glattalp at 1896 metres above sea level. A short while later the helicopter lands, is refueled again and the journey can begin.
The propellers are started, the helicopter lifts into the air and the valuable load shortly afterwards as well. The helicopter quickly gains altitude and soon disappears behind the mountains. A unique spectacle!
Everything went according to plan and we are very much looking forward to seeing the furniture in use soon in the Stube high up in the Glattalp hut.
